Join Lori Fredrich, author of "Wisconsin Field to Fork: Farm Fresh Recipes from the Dairy State" for a book discussion, book signing, and cooking demonstration.
Lori will discuss the importance of locally sourced food, farmers markets, and her new book. Following the discussion, Chef Thi Cao of Wild Roots, who has a recipe in the book, will do a cooking demonstration featuring local ingredients. The book also highlights Jerry's Produce as a featured farmer, who will be selling local produce at the Market. After the discussion, stick around for live music from Kevin Mulvenna from 2-5 p.m.
